When planning for your new steel building, site preparation is an important step in the process. One common question we hear is whether Heritage Steel handles site grading and concrete work.
Heritage Steel does not provide site grading or concrete services. These steps must be completed by the customer prior to installation. If your building will be installed on a concrete pad, we recommend working with a reputable local grading and concrete contractor to ensure the site is properly prepared.
For concrete foundations, it’s important that the slab is poured at least two weeks before your scheduled installation date. This allows the concrete adequate time to cure and ensures a smooth, efficient installation when our team arrives.
Proper site preparation helps avoid delays and ensures your building is installed correctly the first time. If you have questions about foundation requirements or installation readiness, our team is always happy to help guide you through the process.
