Heritage Steel was started by a Father (Aaron) and Son (Jadon) team who saw a need for a high quality carport company that would offer exceptional customer service and dealer support.  

Born to an Amish family in Lancaster, PA, Aaron was raised on the family farm along with 9 siblings. Growing up he was taught the importance of hard work, honesty, and doing a good, quality job. As Aaron grew, he loved to build things with his hands more then farming, so at the age of 20 Aaron started working in construction. Aaron was very successful because of his good work ethics and values he had learned from his parents. Aaron married soon after that and was blessed with 6 children. The 4th one being Jadon. 

Aaron purchased a chicken farm when Jadon was just a baby, and growing up on the farm Jadon learned the importance of hard work. When Jadon was 10 years old Aaron decided to move his family to NC at which time he could not resist getting back into the construction industry. After a few years, Aaron started building backyard storage buildings and at age 15, Jadon started building alongside his dad. Starting to work full time at a young age was not difficult for Jadon as he was also taught the importance of hard work, honesty, and doing a good quality job.  During this time Jadon went to college and became a certified welder. At the time Jadon had no idea how much he would need those skills in just a few short years. 

After several years of building backyard storage units Aaron and Jadon saw the need for a quality carport company that could not only supply a superior metal building but would also provide exceptional customer service to the buyer and provide their dealers the tools needed to meet their own sales goals.

Heritage is Started

On January 1, 2018, Aaron and Jadon founded what started as Heritage Carports, LLC. Their goal was to be the superior carport supplier in the nation in all aspects of their business. 

In early 2022, they developed a new product, Steel Portable Greenhouses. After a few months of design and testing, Heritage Carports, LLC started full production of their new product line. Heritage is now the only manufacturer in the USA that manufactures a 100% portable metal greenhouse.

With the growth of the greenhouse division and full scope of expansion within the company, Heritage Carports, LLC became Heritage Steel, LLC in January 2023. Heritage currently installs buildings in NC and most parts of VA and SC. Heritage Steel currently serves NC, VA, SC, WV, GA, WA State, and OR with greenhouses. 

Today Aaron and Jadon both enjoy working together in their business. Jadon is now blessed with a beautiful wife and 2 small girls. Even though today they do not drive a horse and buggy, they still hold fast to the important values taught to them at an early age.
